Design Divas season 4

We are very happy to announce that patch design studio has one entry listed in the top 12 and two entries listed in the top 100 at Decowood Design Divas.

Decowood Design Divas In Association With Architectural Digest is a one-of-a-kind platform for women architects and designers to showcase their work. Over the past years, DECOWOOD DESIGN DIVAS has helped lay the foundation for women to be the frontrunners in the design spectrum by recognizing and rewarding those with a flair and aptitude for design.

Shruti Gaonkar, Nirali Nitin Mehta and Rika Chaudhry all made it to top 100 list of season 4.

Shruti Gaonkar: Sarova Experience Center for SD Corp, has made it to the top 12 finalists list.

The experience center is a multi-purpose working space for the employees of a real estate company and a sales gallery for potential home buyers. The design brief asked for a hip, new co-working space.

Clean contemporary design with some key custom designed fixtures make the experience of the space, warm, informal and lively. This connects with the client’s design brief for this project, which intended to create spaces with youthful appeal.

Nirali Nitin Mehta: Drip Capital Co-working space was listed in the top 100.

Drip Capital Office, is a work space for a finance company having an open planning layout accompanied with small informal pockets. These informal pockets in the office break the monotony of the open planning in terms of its language, functions and material usage while bringing in a bit of color and fun.

Subtle gestures in materials and space design using natural veneer, indoor plants and bricks creates an interactive playful approach to a healthy work environment as per the clients brief.

Rika Chaudhry: Gallery House was listed in the top 100.

For the gallery house, the couple approached the firm with an open mind to reinvent their way of living in the house that has been with them for generations. Keeping in the mind that the clients are serious art collectors and yet have a unique lifestyle the house was reimagined as a gallery with lots of art. Hence the colour palette of the house was kept to neutral shades of grey, white and natural wooden shades, so that the art pieces that were acquired by the client are emphasized upon. Teak and oak veneers were used extensively throughout the apartment.

The house in all encompasses the family heritage with a modern twist.
